Membership should be intentional, reviewed and recorded. D’Key Association is not an open-registration list. It is a private membership container with standards.

Membership pathway
Applicant
Submits a request and waits for review. No membership exists automatically.
Provisional Member
May receive limited updates/resources while fit, conduct and interests are confirmed.
Active Member
Receives member communications and relevant access under the rules.
Contributor Member
May assist with events, documents, admin, media or resources under named responsibilities.
Lapsed / Resigned / Suspended
Membership can end by resignation, non-renewal, conduct issue, capacity issue or administrative decision.
Membership outcome
Membership should result in a clear route, not just a name on a list. Every accepted member should know their category, status, expected conduct, first resource access and review point.
Category and status
Founding, General, Family, Learning, Contributor or Honorary, with active/provisional/lapsed status.
Resources and notices
Only relevant resources should be shared, with version control and appropriate boundaries.
30/60/90 day check
Early review protects fit, conduct, capacity and the Association’s reputation.

Founding Member
Early trusted members helping shape the Association standard.
General Member
Standard private member route.
Family Member
For family/community participation where appropriate.
Learning Member
Academy, Method or resources-led route.
Contributor Member
For people who support operations or events.
Honorary Member
Recognition route with no automatic control.
Review criteria
- Fit with Association purpose and conduct standards
- Clarity of intention
- Respect for lawful boundaries
- Capacity of the Association to support the request
- Safeguarding, safety or conduct concerns where applicable
- Whether the correct route is actually Civic, Academy, Digital or another D’Key branch
