A credible Association needs a plain process for concerns, complaints, conduct issues and administrative reviews.
Record the concern, date, person raising it, issue type and any immediate risk.
Confirm receipt where appropriate and explain that the matter will be reviewed.
Separate fact, opinion, risk, records, correspondence and any relevant member rules.
Provide a proportionate outcome where possible: no action, guidance, warning, pause, suspension, referral or closure.
Keep the decision, reason, action and review date in the concern log.
Use emergency, safeguarding, legal, police, medical or other professional channels where the matter requires it.
It cannot replace courts, regulators, police, statutory safeguarding routes, legal advice or professional dispute resolution.
